What Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you visit our Web site, FastSnap collects your IP address, which we use to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web site, and to improve our services. Your IP address also is used to gather broad demographic information that does not personally identify you.
If you place an order or register as a photographer, we will collect information that specifically identifies you or your account. At this time, the most information you would be required to submit is your unique username, password, first name, last name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, e-mail address, a password hint question and answer, and your credit card information if you are placing an order or your occupation if you are registering as a photographer. All other information requested is optional. This information is necessary for us to process your orders/assignments and to occasionally notify you of important changes to the Web site, new FastSnap features, or special FastSnap offers you may find useful. Our Security Measures
This Web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under its control. Your username and password let FastSnap verify that you are a registered customer or photographer and prevent anyone else from ordering in your name or accessing your online account or photos without your express permission. You should guard this password as carefully as you would your credit card number. If you forget your password, we will first verify your identity and then e-mail your password to the e-mail address you have listed in your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and/or any account information.
FastSnap will not share your personal information with third parties unless you have consented to the disclosure or the disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or with legal process or to process your credit card transaction. We use a secure, licensed system for credit card authorization and fraud detection.
